More Brainstorming (We are getting somewhere!!!)

• Comradery between poor people , more understanding of their situation that the rich people

• Mother loses child, body contorted in unnatural painful protective position. Let’s out grieving wail so loud hopefully shocks audience. the other four walking around with hands outstretched as if taking ‘snapshot’

• Stage split in half, line of rubbish

• Robotic movements or zombie movements for mud scene

Poverty & Artaud

• Confronting to audience, contrasting emotions such as guilt and empathy

• Removing mask of wealth, such difference between the wealthy who are masked when social circles interact to the poor who wear no mask to survive.

How would you summarise your performance in 25 words or less?

A demonstration exploring the in-balance of wealth evoking contrasting emotions; guilt and empathy. Shining a light on the cycle of corruption allowing poverty to keep existing. Removing the mask is not necessary for the poor as there is no need for a mask to survive.

Difference between developed and undeveloped poverty.

• There is no safety net.

• What is the one main message you want your audience to understand?

• There is hope
