Robin Hood performance and More group development
We watched a video by a group who performed Robin Hood on a really tiny space ( I shall insert the video so you can watch it). They had amazing seamless transitions and that video is an excellent example to show students who need to create flowing transitions between their scenes. Here is the video:
We then worked on our assessment in our groups and I spoke too soon. Some people in my group are not the most cooperative people ever. They keep shutting ideas down saying we will confuse ourselves. However, I believe that rehearsal time is the time time we should be experimenting with ideas becasue that's what rehearsal time is for. I want to produce a top notch piece of theatre and if that means we experiment with a few ideas then so be it! I just really want this to work for us and at the moment it feels like people keep shutting ideas down and we never know what our true potential is. I woould rather perform an amazing piece that a good piece that has been rehearsed over and over and over again. We have acually made no progress and I am getting extreemly annoyed. Just Breathe.........
Woah I just read over that paragraph and I am a good ranter haha.
