Deadlines and Stress!

So we have our HSC exams for the next two weeks and we still have SO MUCH TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!

We are making it a point to make ourselves available to the group and give as much time as we can without impeding on exams. However, the group is very understanding and still works well if someone cannot make it. We had several instances where one person could not make it. It was either me, or someone else, though every time, we updated the script and the person who missed the meet up made sure that they learned their designated part.

The parts of our performance that needs improvement are still the transitions. I think we spent so much time solidifying the scenes that we forgot about the transitions and now it has become really hard to figure out transitions. The transition into the nightclub scene needs more work to actually make it clear that we are in a nightclub. Also, every transition needs to be very clean and robotic.

The Buildup of Tension

We are using elements on tone, rhythm and pace to create tension. Sound also plays a massive role in building up to the climactic moment. The pace in the nightclub scene dialogue really creates a strong impact on the audience.
